Enjoy the calming atmosphere of this small and friendly seaside village where fishing boats bustle around the Broken Group Islands and there are good opportunities for whale watching, fishing charters and kayaking trips.
Ucluelet offers tranquil accommodation including hotels, bed and breakfast and luxury rentals.
Wild Pacific Trail: This leisurely trail weaves through ancient rainforests along the Pacific Rim Coast and offers spectacular panoramic views where eagles, whales, sea lions and bears are all regular sightings. It is also ideal for storm watching. A pacific storm can generate 10 metre swells which can crest to 18 metres creating a roaring surf that can be heard for kilometres.
